Anita, Emily and I sat down and sketched ideas and Anita came across this amazing vintage Vogue pattern. We bought 8 yards of duponi silk and Anita worked her magic on cutting it, and measuring Anna to wear the dress. Next, I dyed the bottom and top and Emily took the waistband and painted Aztec motifs. Anita constructed and sewed the dress together - including a gazillion buttons up the back - and then I embellished with crystals, glitter and glitter spray. Anita polished off the final details. While all of this was going on, Carmen whipped up some beaded wrist cuffs to go with it!
