Almost a year ago, I was gabbing on the phone with my friend Tracy. We were raving about how cool it would be to join a women's arts collective. By the end of the conversation, we decided we would start our own crafty clique! And on that night the Phoenix Fridas were born. I contacted some of my favorite creative chica friends that were working hard at reaching their dreams of creating art for a living - and inspiring other people at the same time.
We've been meaning to get a kick-ass web site up for months, but because of time restraints we haven't been able to. Tonight, I thought, what the heck - I'll put up a blog for us. Check back here to read about our favorite finds and such.
Soon we'll be hosting crafty parties, art shows, workshops and more. This is just the beginning!
